Client Profile: The Baryshnikov Arts Center (BAC) was established in 2005 to serve as a creative laboratory, meeting place, and performance space for a vibrant community of artists from around the world. BAC is dedicated to building audiences for the arts by presenting contemporary, innovative work at low or no cost to ticket buyers.

Project Description: BAC has acquired an existing 300-seat theater in the performing arts complex at 450 West 37th Street and is in the process of transforming it into the state-of-the-art Jerome Robbins Theater. The newly redesigned theater will serve as an organic extension of the existing Center, featuring uniquely forward-looking programming for New Yorkers, and including artist-centered activity that fosters creative exploration.


Roles and Responsibilities: Serving as Real Estate Advisor and Project Manager, Denham Wolf is representing the client in:

> Negotiation of the acquisition in conjunction with Katsky Korins (legal counsel)

> Management and administration of project funding (Including NYC DCA and private funds)

> Team selection

> Oversight of design and construction
