JONATHAN DENHAM
Background: Over the past 21 years, Jon Denham, a civil engineer and urban planner by training, has dedicated himself to planning, design, and construction activities in the real estate development industry. Jon has managed the implementation of a variety of urban development projects in New York City, including planning and feasibility studies, building and facility assessments, and the design and construction of a diverse range of building projects. From project conception and scoping to completion, Jon brings to his projects comprehensive resources including extensive contacts with government and private development entities, effectiveness in complex development structures, and a strong track-record in working with community groups and elected officials.
Selected Experience: As a principal of
Denham Wolf Real Estate Services, Inc., Jon directed the
design and construction activities for the Roundabout
Theatre Company's American Airlines Theatre project
and for The American-Scandinavian Foundation's Scandinavia
House project, a new cultural facility in Manhattan.
Other recent and current projects include the Rockaway
Education and Health Center, 3-Legged Dog, Inc.'s
new theater development in Lower Manhattan, and Poets
House's new permanent home, also in Lower Manhattan.
In his positions, including Senior Vice President of Capital Program & Planning, at the New York City Economic Development Corporation, Jon's accomplishments included completion of the Yankee Stadium Alternative Site Assessment and the Shea Stadium Redevelopment Feasibility Study.
Education: Jon received a Bachelor of
Science in Engineering degree from Princeton University's
School of Engineering and Applied Science in the Civil
Engineering / Structures Program. He also holds a Master
of Public Administration degree from New York University's
Robert F. Wagner Graduate School of Public Service, with
a specialization in Public Policy Analysis. |
