Denham Wolf is seeking a thoughtful, detailed, and organized team member to support the development of the firm's Salesforce database. Over the course of the summer, the Database Intern will work with the Marketing & Operations department to make the firm’s data more actionable. This New York-based role is temporary and part-time.
The primary focus of this temporary, part-time position will be the maintenance and improvement of Denham Wolf’s Salesforce database. Over the course of the summer, the Database Intern will work with the Marketing & Operations team to make the firm’s data more actionable. Priority areas may include nonprofit tax information, Denham Wolf project data, and contact information for both clients and project partners.
Depending on the skills and interests of the Database Intern, additional projects may include research on potential clients, supporting the identification of thought leadership topics, supporting the documentation of Denham Wolf’s hardware and software, and/or supporting HR-related benchmarking efforts.
Through these responsibilities and projects, the Database Intern will be exposed to the New York City real estate industry at large, the basics operations of a real estate services firm, and the overall structure of brokerage, capital project management, and development planning projects. This exposure will be enhanced by occasional visits to active project sites. As we are dedicated to serving the nonprofit sector, Denham Wolf will also provide the Database Intern with the chance to learn about the nonprofits that operate in New York City, including the nature of their leadership.
The role is New York-based and reports to the Director of Marketing & Operations. While flexible, the Database Intern is expected to work three days per week for approximately 13 weeks, beginning the week of June 1st.
Compensation is hourly and commensurate with experience, typically falling in the range of $17-20 per hour.
The position requires proficiency with Salesforce and the Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel. Attention to detail and a strong sense of organization, including a natural talent for data management, are strongly preferred. Past experience with nonprofits and/or in the real estate industry is a major plus.
