Webinar | Wednesday, February 25th | 1:00 – 2:00 pm
This session will explore capital funding from a practical, implementation-focused perspective. Drawing on lessons learned as Owner’s Representatives for hundreds of nonprofit projects, Denham Wolf will discuss how organizations can prepare for the realities of applying for, receiving, and successfully utilizing capital grants.
We will dive into what your team should anticipate as part of the capital funding request process. Securing capital funding is only the beginning. Many nonprofits discover that the real challenge begins after an award is made—when complex requirements, documentation, timelines, and compliance rules come into play.
The goal of this presentation is simple: to help your organization not only win capital grants, but to successfully deliver projects and claim funding with fewer surprises and less risk.
Topics will include:
- Key considerations before you apply for funding
- Your next steps after receiving an award
- The roles of public agencies, fundraising consultants, and other project partners
- Common requirements attached to capital grants
- Practical strategies for managing timelines and cash flow
- Resources and partners that can help along the way
Important Note:
This webinar is not about fundraising strategy or grant writing. Instead, it focuses on the operational and managerial realities that nonprofits must navigate once capital funding is on the table.
Who should attend:
Nonprofit executive directors, COOs, CFOs, development staff, board members, and anyone responsible for planning or managing capital projects.
