Helping Faith-Based Organizations (FBOs) Assess their Real Estate Options

Date and Time: June 25th from 12:30 pm to 1:30 pm

About this Event:

At Denham Wolf, we know that any organization experiencing change should consider the impact across its operations, especially its real estate. As one of the most historic community conveners, faith-based organizations own and utilize some of the city’s most unique real estate, but they have experienced huge changes. Evolving congregational composition and the high public visibility of their decisions often overshadow efforts to optimize real estate. With new policies in effect, such as 485x and City of Yes, this year has put an even stronger spotlight on the potential of faith-based real estate.

Exploiting the development potential of underbuilt faith-based real estate is often seen as the solution to financial challenges, but congregations may have a range of options available to them. Therefore, it is important to have a thoughtful and transparent process that can both inject confidence into decision-making and build consensus amongst stakeholders.

In this webinar, Denham Wolf’s experts will provide an overview of the steps faith-based organizations can take when reviewing their real estate strategy. This will include assessing their real estate and providing an overview of the current market in New York City.

This webinar will be hosted by Denham Wolf’s experts, Christopher D. Turner, MRICS – Managing Director of Transaction Services, and Priya Ananthanathan – Director of Development Services.
